The Google Page Rank is a topic much often discussed by Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) experts. At the center of PageRank is a mathematical formula that seems quite scary to look at, but is actually fairly simple to understand. PageRank is one of the methods Google uses to determine a page’s relevance or importance. Important, high-quality websitessites get a higher PageRank, which then Google uses. It stores the information in its database and refers to it every time it spiders the Internet. The PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a website, the more important the website is being considered. Also, the importance of the website that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. Google calculates a website's importance from the number of votes cast for it.
